When you pull back the velcro connection behind the staples directly under the seat it folds up and the carpet you want to pull forward is exposed but really tightl against the back. The fusebox cover comes off vertically by pressing on the latches at the narrow ends.
Posted on Jan 20, 2011 The driver's side rear fuse block is located under the rear seat on the driver's side of the vehicle. Took 30 mins to repair, took a week to dry the carpet, rear seats and boot carpet. To open, turn the latch with a flat bladed tool and pull the trim panel from the edges to fold it down. Pull hard and you will expose the plastic fuse box. You will see staples along the carpet. Leave the carpet on the drivetrain hump end pretty much in place. The fuse box is under the rear seat cushion, behind the driver.
Propane and other fuels are not provided through this service. If this is rusted underneath then water is getting via the wheel arch open end of the tube. There are four plastic screws, Unscrew and lift the spare tire cover. Jan 20, 2013 my 2004 deville has a fuse box under the hood , near the front , on the passanger side. Pull levers out on each side of fuse box cover and lift. It just popps off and take note of it's orientation for replacement later. I removed the rear drivers side wheel, pulled away the plastic wheel arch lining then sealed the hole where the wiring leads through this pipe.

Pull the seat up and forward. The diagram is inside the fuse box cover. . The rear compartment fuse block is located in the cargo area, on the driver side of the vehicle behind the lower trim panel. While you're in the backseat, check all the fuses, there's a second fusebox on the passenger side. I know there are two fuse boxes underneath the floor carpeting in front of the rear seat. Then lift the cover off.
